Power Trip is a band name that seemed to be everywhere in the last few years. I saw lots of people wearing their merch, I saw them being mentioned in lists of bands to check out etc… So finally with the release of Nightmare Logic I did cave in and gave them a listen.
Power Trip play thrash metal where you can still clearly hear their hardcore roots. Because of these hardcore influences this band can be placed between bands like Nuclear Assault, Cryptic Slaughter etc… Younger bands this can be compared to are Municipal Waste and Iron Reagan. very energetic.
