Employed to Serve: The warmth of a dying sun

This band was proposed to me by Spotify in the new release radar playlist. According to them Employed to serve would be right up my alley.  And they were right. The warmth of a dying sun is an album I really like.

Employed to serve play technical new school hardcore. Botch and Converge are probably influences for them. But due to the constant groove in their music they remind me even more of a modern take on nineties bands like Torn apart and Harvest.

Somewhere I read some comments on the harsh screaming voice of the singer, but I have to admit that the aggression and conviction that is conveyed in those screams make it an asset, not a drawback.
